There are many different types and designs of Flightcases.
First and foremost, we can distinguish between three categories:
Professional, Standard and AiR
Flightcases The professional series uses 9 mm birch plywood, which is coated with a film on both sides. The side that will later be the outside is coated with a thicker scratch-resistant film with a textured surface. The professional series uses large fittings such as butterflies (catches) as well as large handles, edges and ball corners. Everything is perfectly coordinated to ensure the best possible protection.
The standard series is made of 7 mm birch plywood and differs only in the use of smaller edges and fittings. The standard series is preferably chosen for smaller and lighter equipment.
The AiR series basically corresponds to the construction of the Flightcases professional series, but instead of wood, an ultra-light plastic honeycomb material is used. This designsaves up to 30% weight compared to
.
There are countless versions available for all series. From universal transport boxes (TRANSflex), chests of all sizes, hood cases, cabinets and cases, everything is possible.
In addition to several thousand standard solutions, Flightcases is largely custom-made to customer specifications.
